UV FAKTOR

​An animation and design I created with BOP! Animation Studio for the Estonian TV talk show "UV Faktor" title sequence, led by Urmas Vaino.

 

The geometric shapes in the animation were inspired by the design of the studio where the talk show was filmed. The color purple was chosen due to the meaning of "Ultraviolet," which means "beyond violet" (from Latin ultra, "beyond"), violet being the color of the highest frequencies of visible light. Ultraviolet has a higher frequency (thus a shorter wavelength) than violet light.

 

I've included two still images that illustrate different concepts I've explored for the project, showcasing its development.

 

The music for the title sequence was created by Markus Robam.
